A transparent market needs transparent rules. Here's exactly how ranking, bidding, payments, listings and moderation work.
A product's position is determined by its applicable bid amount. Higher bid = higher position.
A bid does not need to beat the current #1. You can place a bid that puts your product wherever that amount ranks on the board.
Your position is not permanent. If another product reaches a higher applicable bid, your product can move down.
The minimum starting bid is: $1
If two products have the same applicable bid amount, the product that reached that amount first maintains the higher position.
A new product can enter the marketplace starting at the minimum bid.
If a product is already on the board, its owner can increase its bid to improve its position.
If another product is above yours, you can increase your bid and attempt to move higher.
Additional bids increase your product's cumulative bid.
When a payment is successfully completed and confirmed by the payment provider, the applicable bid is applied to the marketplace. The leaderboard should only update after payment has been verified.
Bids are final. A payment is not refunded simply because another product later outbids you. The payment represents the position/visibility you received while your bid was active.
Payments are securely processed through Dodo Payments. productbid does not store your full card details.

Each unique destination should have one marketplace listing. Do not create multiple listings for the same product using:
Normalize URLs where appropriate. Tracking/affiliate parameters should be removed where the implementation supports this.
One product should not occupy multiple positions by manipulating its URL.

Make sure your website has a valid title, description and favicon for the best listing experience.

What you paid for.
What the market actually clicked.
How your position is changing.
Click counts are an activity metric, not a guarantee of customers, revenue or conversions.
A marketplace position can provide visibility. It does NOT guarantee:
The actual value of a position depends on the people visiting the market and how relevant your product is to them.
Bid what visibility is worth to you — not what you expect it to return.
productbid reserves the right to reject or remove listings that violate these rules or are harmful to users. Potential reasons include:
A listing removed for violating the rules may not be eligible for a refund.
Prohibited behavior includes:
The marketplace is designed around transparent competition. Attempts to artificially manipulate ranking, traffic or payment systems may result in removal.
If a payment fails: The bid does not become active.
If payment succeeds but the leaderboard does not update correctly: Contact support before opening a dispute.
